Summer 2023 Focus: EcoResonance

This summer I’m delighted to be leading a series of mindfulness practices on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 am CST to help us connect with different aspects of the earth and play with EcoResonance.

I define EcoResonance as the harmonious interplay between mindful interconnectedness, conscious stewardship, and the dance of giving and receiving as a way to create a balanced and sustainable relationship between humans and the rest of the Earth.

We’ve already had two sessions for harmonizing with mountains (body scan) and larger bodies of water (breath work this summer, but there are many more sessions to come.

Here is the EcoResonance schedule for Summer 2023:

  • July 12 – Trees (Lovingkindness Meditation)
  • July 19 – Wild Creatures (External Meditation)
  • July 26 – Crystals (Vibrational Healing)
  • August 2 – Birds (Gratitude for the Song of Life)
  • August 9 – Animal Companions (Body Scan)
  • August 16 – Open Lands and Prairies (Opening the Heart)
  • August 23 – Deserts (Cleansing the Mind)
  • August 30 – Frozen Lands (Cooling Meditation)

In many of the sessions, we will begin the practice with five minutes of Shamata meditation.

This mindfulness series focuses on the art of receiving essential qualities such as peace, calm, confidence, cleansing, freedom, strength, kindness, balance and creativity. We’ll also pay attention to the natural impulse to give as we receive.

I’m not free to join on Wednesdays, Karen, but I sure do feel a solidarity with your effort. I love your message and your efforts! Thank you.
