I originally created the Slow Down to Restore Class in 2019 to share my ideas and experience on how mindfulness can helps us better align with sustainable living practices.
In the class, we work with three updated checklists to help you create or expand your restorative lifestyle in 2024. These checklists align with the mindfulness practices offered in each class.
The Shamata Meditation, in the first class, aligns with daily personal restoration habits that contribute to living more sustainably. The Daily Personal Restoration Checklist is sent out for the first class. Body Scan, the second class, reinforces the idea that we affect whatever we focus on. We’ll go deeper into personal restoration and sustainability.
In the third class, we practice External Meditation as a way of energizing our connection to the earth. The Restoring the World Through Your Actions Checklist is used with this class and the fourth class when we practice the Lovingkindness meditation.
During the final class, we practice Mindful Gratitude and how that aligns with creating wealth that heals and does not harm the earth. We review the Restorative Wealth Checklist in the fifth class.

If you would like to explore how to align mindfulness practices with sustainability, I would love to have you join me tomorrow night, Thursday January 25 at 7:30 pm CST!
