When you are ready for a major life reset
This course is for anyone who wants to get serious about their contribution to a more sustainable world either through their life or work.
In the first class, we assess how sustainable your current lifestyle already is.
In the next three weeks of April we design a plan for you to implement immediately and throughout the rest of the year..

What hurts you may hurt the earth
We usually seek a reset in life because something doesn’t feel right.
Sometimes, we’re in pain, sometimes we’re uncomfortable. Or we’ve lost our mojo.
Sustainable Life Design is meant to deepen and strengthen your awareness of your connection with the earth as a path towards healing what hurts not only you, but for the earth we will live.
With an awareness of your connection to the Great Song of Life, you can then determine which of seven major restorative resets you are ready to make happen.
The Seven Restorative Resets we explore in Sustainable Life Design are:
- Personal Power
- Your connection to the four essential life forces – creative, restorative, destructive, potential
- Habits
- Environment
- Cycles
- Accountability
- Collaboration for Collective Change
It’s almost impossible to change every aspect of our life.
Sometimes, we do go through times of extreme change. But that kind of change can be traumatic.
The type of change we’re seeking to make in Sustainable Life Design is gentle, consistent and uplifting.
The Sustainable Life Design course may be a good fit if:
- You know some of your lifestyle choices could use an upgrade.
- You would like to be part of restoring health to earth’s ecosystems in a more tangible way.
- You are on the cusp of beginning a new chapter of your life.
- You’re excited to see what could change for the better in your life and work.
- You have health issues that would benefit from gentle mindfulness practices combined with practical life changes.
If one or more of these situations is true for you, this course might be for you!
Four Live Sessions in April
The Sustainable Life Design Course in April is meant to help you jumpstart your year, whether you have made significant progress in the first three months of the year or not.
Week 1:
The first week helps you assess how sustainable your current life is with the Sustainable Life Design Assessment. The focus in the first week is on how the global affects the local and the personal and vice versa. We’ll look at your life in terms of the global sustainability big five: climate change, water, waste, wild places, and healthy soil. You’ll have options to explore zero waste, decarbonization, regenerative agriculture, mindful consumption, and other ideas that might be a part of expanding your sustainable life.
Week 2:
In the second week, you’ll review the 7 Restorative Resets Video and the Where to Begin Worksheet on your own. We’ll have a class to discuss what you learn about yourself, and choose one of the resets to work with during the second half of the class.
Week 3:
We’ll review different frameworks for change such as story, the big picture, aligning with song, and determine which one might be most appropriate for you given the reset you want to add to your life.
Week 4:
During the final week, we’ll discuss how to collaborate with others to make your personal sustainable lifestyle have local and global impact. You don’t have to become a global activist to make a difference in the world. We’ll discuss many ways to connect with others whether an introvert, extrovert, just starting out in your life, or retired.
Dates and Times
This course is a combination of self study and a weekly class. You will receive videos and worksheets for each week by email.
