Do you Manifest or Wish?

By Karen Powers

Next Friday morning on July 9th, our advanced group program begins. Dr. Lisa Wipplinger and I would love to help you work with your mind and energy to create more of what you want in your life, and for the sake of our planet. You can learn more about Summer Sparkle here.

This last week, I was talking to some friends about our summer program and how we will have a focus on manifesting.

The two people with me said they don’t believe in manifesting. They both saw it as something that was unscientific and highly questionable that it could work.

I found this interesting because both of these people were great at manifesting seemingly impossible results in short periods of time.

They just didn’t like the word manifesting because of all the baggage it carries.

I asked one of them, do you ever wish for things, and have them appear fairly quickly. She nodded her head, but then said, “but that’s not manifesting, that’s wishing”.

We can get caught up in how we name the process of influencing what happens in the world with our thoughts and energy. To some extent, that’s why we named our upcoming program, Summer Sparkle.

The ideas and techniques that we will share can add more fun, more delight, and more of what we want to experience in the world.

Wishing tends to have a bad rap in the “real” world.

Many of us have heard the statement, a goal without a plan is just wishing.

Not to take away from planning, I’m all for planning and preparing with our actions for a better future. That’s why I helped create an updated sustainability plan for the city where I live.

When we want more ease in our lives, and less stress, manifesting or wishing is a way of shifting how change happens in our lives. It helps our plans move in the quickest path.

I am a firm believer that if enough of us work on manifesting a more healthy, inclusive and sustainable earth, we can make some big changes happen more quickly.

Given that this is the mindful earthkeeper, our Summer Sparkle program starts with healing the world as a starting point for uplifting our individual desires and wishes.

Dr. Lisa Wipplinger and I want to help you work with your mind and energy to heal the earth and create more of what you want in your life.

Whether you want to call what we will be do manifesting or wishing doesn’t matter.

Come join us!
